Made in Montana - Handmade Collectible Knife
100% Made in the USA
The process in making a knife involves, laying out the design (mine or yours), sawing it out on a band saw, drilling necessary holes, stamping makers name, grinding the blade, heat treating, making guard and rivets, soldering the guard, fitting handle material, and finally shaping the handle and finishing the handle and blade.
A quality leather sheath is supplied with each knife and free sharpening for life.
I use mostly D2 tool steel; a high carbon high chrome steel which holds an excellent edge. Some 440-C stainless and other grades if available on request. Handle material varies according to your wants. Wood and Micarta are what I mostly use but will use other materials if available at your request. Guard and rivets are mostly brass.

HOW THEY’RE MADE
I design, forge, shape, grind, heat treat and sharpen all of my knives myself. I use an Evenheat knife kiln for heat treating, i like to have control over all aspects of my blades production. In addition to my state of the art equipment, i had the privilege of inheriting quite a few hand tools and a big old workbench from my Grandpa Campana, who was a machinist. American made tools, used by my grandfather, are still creating today.
